Fun events at Pillsbury Manor
Pillsbury Manor offers a wide range of planned activities to enhance the quality of life for not only the residents that live at Pillsbury Manor, but their families as well. Each year we offer two events, our annual summer picnic and our annual holiday dessert buffet, for families to come and enjoy the festivities with family and friends.

The programs at Pillsbury Manor are designed to encourage residents to participate in a variety of activities that fuel creativity, socialization and knowledge. A goal is to facilitate friendships between residents as well.

Example of the wide range of activities available:

  • Social Events, such as tea parties, holiday parties, coffee hour
  • Outings, trips to lunch, shopping, museums, movies, scenic rides
  • Educational Programs, travel talks, museum talks
  • Musical Entertainment of a variety of genres
  • Games, bingo, bocce ball, scrabble, cribbage, cards
  • Church Services
  • Crafts, watercolor painting, flower arranging, jewelry making, knitting
  • Physical Fitness, exercise class, yoga, walking outside, gardening, back massages
  • Interaction with children, such as school visits, musical programs
  • Community based service projects, sending cards to US service members overseas and their families
  • Library Book Mobile
  • Therapy dog visits
  • Individual visits
